The Emerald J Equestrian Center will continuously strive to offer the highest quality horsemanship training for our clients.

The instructors teaching at the Emerald J Equestrian Center will participate in lectures, clinics and seminars to constantly improve our education and methods of teaching.

All instructors at the Emerald J Equestrian Center will be enrolled in riding lessons to broaden our knowledge and improve ourselves as teachers.

We will strive to supply the highest quality horses for our clients to learn with.

Spring Try It Program!!

We understand in today’s economic climate that money is tight for many families.  We would like to help new riders join our program while keeping prices down as much as possible.  In this spirit, the Emerald J is announcing a new, limited time program.

TRY IT PROGRAM

If you are looking for a riding school to join this year and would like to give us a try, we welcome you and will give you the first lesson for no charge.  We are confident that if you come meet our horses and staff that you will be happy with what you find.  We are a small private riding school where quality and safety are the focus while teaching both mounted and horsemanship lessons to beginner through advanced level riders.  Check out our site for more details.

We also are offering our private lessons with Jane at a drastically reduce rate!  Instead of the $55.00 price, these lessons will be reduced to $45.00.  That is a huge savings!  Both of these specials are available now.  Please contact us at jane@emeraldj.com if you would like more information.

Working Student Position

We currently have a position available for a working student. 

Need work hours on Saturday, Sunday and weekday mornings except Wed’s

This person should be an intermediate level rider and able to handle horses independently on the ground. 

Duties include stall cleaning, paddock cleaning and general horse upkeep.

Compensation in the form on riding lessons on our school horses.  4 hours of satisfactory work equals one, 45 min riding lesson.

Individual must have reliable transportation and be at least 18 yrs old. 

This is a great way to fulfill school internship requirements.  It is also a great way to get back into lessons without the cost!
